Course Duration: ½ Day

Course Description:

Applied Project Risk Management is essential to the success of any project endeavour. Failing to embed risk management into your project, will ensure that you do not reap the benefits associated with undertaking the project in the first place.

Some Project Managers use no approach whatsoever to risk management. Project Managers who choose this approach are either ignorant in how to run their project correctly or they are somehow confident that no risks will occur on their project (which of course will happen).

Are you as a Project Manager able to identify all project risks before they occur? Probably not, however if you were to combine a number of different, yet effective project risk identification methods, you are likely to find the large majority of risks that could cause significant delay or failure to your project. If you deal with these project risks properly, you will have enough time left to manage scope, time and cost effectively and as such deliver a successful project to your stakeholders.
