COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Microsoft Project® is one of the world’s most popular project management software applications. This course introduces the delegate to the primary functions, features, tools and techniques of this dynamic and value-adding application.

The course has been structured in such a way, so as to allow the delegate to link the practise of project scope, time, cost and communications management, with the automated MSProject® application.

The course progresses from a high-level orientation of the toolset, into the physical navigation, use and manipulation of many of the functions and features of the application. This process of delivery, gives the delegate a beneficial appreciation of the use of the toolset, in aid of their duties in various project management roles.

Being able to understand and identify task dependency relationships
Being able to identify the critical path of the project as well as float on tasks
Being able to allocate resources to tasks and identify and resolve overallocations by levelling resources
