COURSE DURATION - 3 DAYS

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

It is impossible to be part of an organisation today and not be involved in a myriad of projects initiatives. There has been a growing realisation that we have to pay attention to the process elements of establishing project scope of works, building effective project plans, running effective meetings, dealing with diverse inputs and managing stakeholder consensus.

With a focus on asking rather than telling and listening to build consensus, facilitation is the new leadership ideal, the core competency everybody needs. Project Managers, Project Leaders and others in leadership positions are often required and expected to facilitate their groups to success, rather than manage in a control and command way.

How can you facilitate, rather than control, group decision making and team interaction? This 3-day dynamic and interactive training workshop has been created to make core facilitation skills, tools and techniques better understood, easier to use and more readily available to you. It represents materials and ideas that have been tested and refined over twenty years of active facilitation in all types of settings.
