Traditional project management approaches, just do not meet the needs of today’s demanding and ever changing project realities and this means, that a better, more innovative and greater value-adding way must be found and deployed; and that way is the ATERN® AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT WAY!

Are you spending more time managing the scope of your project rather than just getting on with it!

Agile Project Management helps manage rapid and frequent scope change, while still ensuring effective project control

Traditional Project Management not for you?

Try Agile Project Management for a welcome change

The term ‘Agile’ has been around for many years, and was initially aimed at software development projects.  In October 2010, the DSDM Consortium extracted the Project Management elements of DSDM® Atern® and made them available as Agile Project Management.  Atern® recognised that Agile is not just about delivering IT projects but is equally applicable to a wide variety of business change projects and programmes.

What is Agile?

Agile Project Management provides organisations and the businesses with the agility and flexibility to deliver projects in today’s dynamic and ever changing business world.

How?

Agile projects welcome, encourage and thrive on new and ever changing prioritised requirements, even in late project development.
Agile understands that we cannot know everything at the start of a project, and therefore what is delivered at the end, is not always what was planned at the beginning.

Not sure if your organisation is ready or will embrace Agile Project Management?

DSDM® Atern® recognises the need to integrate the drive for flexibility, change and time to market into corporate processes and standards and even to work effectively alongside projects working in a more traditional style.

“Take an agile approach to Agile, don’t try and change everything at once.” Dorothy Tudor, TCC Ltd
